I'm running for California College Democrats President because I sense an incredible opportunity to strengthen and expand the organization. In the 2008 election cycle, a huge swell of new students and youth across California got involved in politics for the first time. Now we have a historic opportunity to bring these students into CCD and prove that young people can be on the front lines of issues like affordable education, abolishing the 2/3rds rule, and marriage equality.
I've posted details on how I think we can strengthen and expand CCD under the Platform section, but I don't have all the ideas. If we really want to mobilize students in California on a whole new scale, it will need to be a collaborative effort. Please take a moment to share your thoughts and ideas in the Feedback section.
